There are several Invisible Man films and TV series, and one popular I know of, Is the "Hollow Man" from the year 2000. That's the only Invisible Man film I watched which is based on H. G. Wells' novel of the same name.

With this new 2020 Invisible Man film, they applied technological modernity as expected, set in our modern world but of course, the groundbreaking technology of optics is fictionalized. I haven't read the H. G. Wells' book so I'm not sure if the story is faithful to the book and whatsoever with the optics technology.

This film was supposed to be cast by Johnny Depp and supposed to be part of Universal Pictures' Universal Monsters but there's a change of plan and made this an individual story. But they're going to make the film titled Invisible Woman in the future and say it will be part of the Universal Monsters though we're not sure if it will be connected to the events of Invisible Man 2020 film.

I enjoyed this film. Not much of a horror, no jumpscare. It's more of an action, thriller, and suspense.

I'm rating this: 5.0 / 10.0

Thanks!
